GFCBW Atlanta Chapter 3rd Annual Trade Show

On April 26, 2026, the GFCBW Atlanta Chapter held its annual trade show at TECO Cultural Center in Chamblee, Georgia. Under clear skies, nearly 200 members of the overseas Chinese community and local residents turned out, creating a lively atmosphere and strong results.

The event welcomed many distinguished guests, including Director General Jared Lin and his spouse; Director Yen Roy, Honorary Advisor Arthur Holst; Charlene Fang, President of the Taiwan Women’s Association; Commissioner Lu Fu-tai and his spouse; Commissioners Chang Sung-cuan and Ray Wang (with spouse); Dr. Raymond Ho and his spouse; and Dr. Wang Dong and his spouse.

Co-organized by a broad coalition of community and professional groups — including The Awesome Team Foundation, Gainesville Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, Taiwan Fellowship Association, Taiwan Women’s Association, Mt. Jade Science and Technology Association, Young Entrepreneurs Association, Atlanta Chinese Medical Association, ROC Veteran Association in Atlanta, Military Dependents’ Village Association, The Chinese Community Federation of Atlanta, and the Chinese American Academic and Professional Association of the Southeastern United States — the trade show showcased the community’s unity and cooperation.

The program opened with host Peggy Ho and a group photo of attendees expressing strong support for Taiwan’s inclusion in the World Health Organization, reflecting the community’s shared stance on international issues.

The trade show featured booths from a wide range of industries; exhibitors offered attractive raffle prizes and gave one-minute business introductions. Presentations ran from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM, encouraging member interaction and increasing brand exposure and collaboration opportunities.

The event ran smoothly and buzzed with activity — exhibitors were enthusiastic, sales were strong, and attendees responded positively. Near the close, several promotional discounts spurred last-minute purchases, helping bring the event to a successful finish.

GFCBW–Atlanta also ran a charity booth selling shoes, clothing, and accessories to raise funds. Unsold items will be donated to International Women's House, a temporary shelter for women affected by domestic violence, demonstrating the organization’s genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable women and the wider community.
